The Little Tulips + Tony Horses + Tarantula Hawk
Tony Horses (Portland (OR)-Instagram / Spotify
Caleb Ballard and Jasper Gill and John Wallent and Karenna Hall in Portland OR making noise in basements, bars, studios, and clubs. The songs of Tony Horses first arose in Caleb's Chicago apartment and were never fully realized until meeting Jasper upon moving to portland. It's been magic ethereal bliss ever since.
The Little Tulips (Santa Fe, NM)-Instagram / Spotify
Spiraling out and up at the base of the Sangre de Cristos in garages, living rooms, and clammy stages all in a van like a range. The Little Tulips planted in northern New Mexico from all sides of the country bringing together a fondness for the little things hiding in the corner and the trouble looking right back at you. If you look down though, it might sound like boot-gaze.
Taylor (vocals/guitar), Adam (vocals/guitar), Jeremy (vocals/bass), Dan (drums/and a really nice sleeping cap)
Tarantula Hawk (Albuquerque, NM)-Instagram / Spotify
This specific Tarantula Hawk doesn’t belong in your worst dreams but rather in a toolbox made of pine with a handle of piñon. Songwriter Dakota Hall Scott rummages through the northern New Mexican dust and northwestern must floating around the country in a weeping van deeply reminiscent of the freaky folk singers whose heart was shaped like something you couldn’t quite put your finger on.
