The Star Family Singers are a songwriting duo who write music about the mystical powers of love and friendship. Always a real world venture, they live in a 2003 Toyota Highlander and tour the DIY circuit, eating gas station hot dogs, exploring their craft and pursuing the effervescent mystery of music itself!

Kai Warrior is a singer-songwriter from Albuquerque, New Mexico. While growing up, she spent her time singing along to the Demi Lovato and Justin Bieber classics on her pink CD player and realized she hummed a bit more than her peers. Somewhere between the braveness of childhood and the impending doom that adolescence met her with, she found uncomfortability and shame in feelings she couldn’t express, which led to her writing what she truly felt. Fast forward many years of suppression, truth, and casually changing the words to her favorite songs to fit her circumstances better, she realized she could just write her own! While in isolation like the rest of the world in 2020, she bought a guitar for $20 off of a friend and has tried to be emotionally honest with herself since.

All ages are welcome, 21+ to enjoy beverages at the bar. Tickets are not required. This event is free and open to the public; however, tips to the band are always welcome and appreciated!
