Alyx Velarde is a folk artist currently based in Taos, New Mexico. With references such as Mazzy Star and Blaze Foley, Alyx crafts songs that delve into themes of heartbreak, family ties, and self discovery. Her indigenous heritage deeply informs her music, often referencing the land and stories of heartbreak.

Her distinct sound is characterized by a blend of ethereal tones, pedal steel, and country progressions. As she prepares for the release of her debut album in early 2027, Alyx continues to engage listeners with performances and commitment to exploring the art of storytelling through music.

Ruby Oland has been recording and releasing music independently for nearly ten years, with two EP’s and two LP’s under her belt. Born in Utah, she has been bouncing between Portland and Northern New Mexico. Crafting odes to the rivers, deserts, and mountains of The West; to all of the enchantments that occur within its liminal spaces.

All ages are welcome, 21+ to enjoy beverages at the bar. Tickets are not required. This event is free and open to the public; however, tips to the band are always welcome and appreciated!
