Native Plant Fundraiser at La Reina

Join us in supporting the Institute for Applied Ecology on March 7th, 6-9pm at La Reina. Enjoy a special drink menu with native plant themed cocktails and a raffle benefiting the organization. Sip your beverage as you sway to the sweet sounds of the Jenkins Twins. It is the mission of the Institute for Applied Ecology to conserve native species and habitats through restoration, research and education. A portion of the night’s drink specials sales will be donated to the Institute for Applied Ecology.

More about the fundraiser from the Institute for Applied Ecology:

Our goal for this event is to cover food costs for our education program - Forest Bound, our native plant immersion and conservation skill building program designed for high school aged youth in the forests around the Santa Fe area. To make our program more accessible, we want to be able to provide lunches and snacks to our participants free of cost. In the past, because of our limited funds, we have only been able to provide lunches once a week. During the program, participants spend the day outside, oftentimes engaging in levels of activity and exposure to the outdoors that they are not used to. Making sure that we have enough snacks and lunch to keep them fueled throughout the day is critical for us to create meaningful and positive experiences outdoors.

This event is free + open to the public / 21 + to enjoy adult beverages.
