Singer/Songwriter Max Gomez grew up in Taos, New Mexico, where he fell under the influence of country blues early on and developed a songwriting style that was uniquely his. He received critical acclaim upon the release of his debut album Rule The World (2013, New West Records); and his subsequent EP, Me and Joe (2017, Brigadoon Records), contained a freshly minted classic, “Make It Me,” which has gained over 4 million listeners on Spotify alone.

Magenta Sunshine is a horn-driven, roots fusion band emerging from the vibrant music scene of Asheville, North Carolina. This sextet has gained a reputation for blistering live performances that blend through-composed arrangements with psychedelic improvisation. Incorporating elements from genres such as modern jazz and blues into well-crafted songwriting and passionate lyricism, Magenta Sunshine delivers a genre-defiant array of energized, elegant, and complex writing. In April 2024 the band released their new full-length album to the world. Entitled, “Serendipity”, it was recorded and mixed by Keenan McRae (Donald Harrison, HER) at ArtisSound Studio in New Orleans. The band is on tour from Asheville, NC in support of their new album.
