Division of Labor, Dani-Rae Clark & Taylor Glasheen
Division of Labor is the ever-evolving musical project of spouses Julie Davis (Bluebook) and Joseph Pope III (Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats) known for their dynamic chemistry and genre-defying sound. Having performed together in a wide range of acclaimed projects, including Miss America by Wheary, The Wheel, Fairchildren, and The Seven Hats of Borg Warner, the pair brings a deep well of experience and emotional depth to their collaborations. Their music reflects years of shared artistic evolution, rooted in trust, experimentation, and a love for storytelling.
Taylor Glasheen is a Phoenix-raised country artist blending neo-traditional grit with modern emotional depth. Coming from a musical family, she found her voice through storytelling and heartbreak, eventually recording her debut album Tip Me a Dollar in Nashville. Known for raw, honest tracks like “Marcella” and “Ten Years Down the Drain,” Taylor has since released standout singles like “When She Drinks” and “Drinkin’ Break.” With a voice that’s both tender and tough, she’s become a rising name in the Southwest scene—bringing desert soul to every stage she hits.
Dani-Rae Clark is a queer country/americana artist born in Vancouver BC, now based in Nashville, TN. Dani-Rae's music is deeply inspired by the country, folk and soul idols of the 40's, 50s and 60's and in each performance they seek to invoke the spirit of the queers who were listening to those songs when they were fresh on the radio. From murder ballad to love song to euphoric escape song, Dani-Rae is linking old narratives to the current events that weigh on our hearts today. Known for their crooning and thought provoking lyricism and described as sounding "like a cowboy dreaming of dried roses hanging from the wall of your crush’s bedroom" - Dani-Rae plays all original songs on their father’s guitar to leave you a little bit haunted and a little in love.
