Dust Congress is a band from Denton, TX with branch locations in Eugene, OR and Captain Cook, HI. They are pioneers of the depressive realism genre and shun the positivity of most contemporary folk bands. Their most recent LP, Garbage Time (Infinite Ohm Records), examines regular people's quest for distraction in the late-stages of the anthropocene.

Infinite Ohm is the nom-de-guerre of Justin Lemons, a sound engineer and audio preservationist who has made racket in some of the most consequential DFW bands of the last 20 years, including Notes from Underground, Shiny Around the Edges, Drug Mountain, Most Efficient Women, and Drink to Victory. As one reviewer put it, “the music he is creating here reaches far beyond simple drone-worship, it is sound refracted through the ever-searching mind and brought back as a new world of possibilities.”

All ages are welcome, 21+ to enjoy beverages at the bar. Tickets are not required. This event is free and open to the public; however, tips to the band are always welcome and appreciated!
