Casey Jane / Tom Terrell

Tom Terrell navigates his way through folk & roots music freely, setting the mood for real life rambling, gambling and heartbreaking story tales. Drawing from a deep well of timeless musical and lyrical styles and Influenced by songwriters like Tom Waits, John Prine, Greg Brown and composers such as Oscar Peterson and Beethoven, Terrell`s eclectic background produces a flavour all his own.

Some voices carry more than words and tunes. These voices are infused with the places that formed them, and the songs they craft are vessels for memory and landscape. In Casey Jane’s singing you’ll hear the creak of the saddle leather and windswept pines that define her small town Oregon roots, and you’ll also hear the pulse and shimmer of the New Orleans streets she’s called home for more than a decade. Though better known for being the other half of Louisiana based crooners The Lostines, Casey’s solo material delves into the realm of heartache and determination through her rich singing and deeply honest songwriting. With the ability to carry a tune as high and clear as a Wallowa Mountain stream and a tendency to wade through emotional murk and mire thicker than any bayou, Casey Jane’s is a voice worth hearing.
