Cyrus Campbell

Cyrus Campbell, a rising star in improvised music from Santa Fe, New Mexico, honed his performance and composition skills at Berklee College of Music under luminaries like Bob Gulloti, John Lockwood, Ralph Peterson, Dave Santoro, Ayn Inserto, Greg Hopkins, and Kenny Werner. Notable performances during his time there include embodying characters like Tomoki Sanders and John Michael Bradford.

Post-graduation, Cyrus thrived in California's Bay Area music scene, contributing to saxophonist Eric Nakanishi's album 'Breakout.' He's now a prominent figure in Santa Fe's evolving improvised music scene, collaborating with Alex Murzyn, Bob Fox, and John Trentacosta at Club Legato. Notably, he frequently performs with saxophonist Eddie Daniels, completing an East Asia tour with their quartet. Additionally, he's actively involved in diverse contemporary music projects alongside renowned musicians like guitarist James Emery and saxophonist Chris Jonas.
